Every year, the regulatory body ASIC raises its fees to align with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and in 2023 that increase was to the tune of 5.1%. So, how does this impact you as a business owner?

You’ll be required to pay 5.1% more than the previous fiscal year for various fees, including but not limited to:

  • Annual review fee for a proprietary company – $310
  • Late payment fee for up to one month late – $93
  • Late payment fee for more than one month late – $387
  • Application for voluntary deregistration of a company – $47
  • Business name registration or renewal for one year – $42
  • Business name registration or renewal for three years – $98
