Due to continued growth in commercial and property‑related transactions, we are seeking an experienced finance broker or banker
to join our team in a Commercial Broker position.

The Role

This is a senior, client‑facing role suited to a seasoned professional who can originate, structure and execute complex finance transactions. You will work across a broad spectrum of lending, with a strong focus on:

  • Commercial and business lending
  • Property investment finance
  • Property development and construction finance
  • Home lending for sophisticated investors and business owners

You will manage your own client relationships while collaborating closely with colleagues across HMW Finance and the broader HMW Group to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and manage commercial finance opportunities from enquiry through to settlement
  • Structure lending solutions for business owners, investors and developers
  • Work on property investment and development transactions, including feasibility‑driven deals
  • Provide strategic lending advice supported by strong credit and lender knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, referrers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with HMW Group advisers to deliver integrated client outcomes

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • MProven experience as a commercial finance broker and/or banker
  • Strong background in commercial lending, property investment and development finance
  • Experience or exposure to home lending (particularly for investors or complex clients)
  • Well‑developed credit and structuring skills
  • An established professional network (advantageous but not essential)
  • A client‑first mindset with strong commercial acumen
  • Relevant accreditations and licences (or ability to hold them)
